Uptown residents living in the area of the new construction on the northwest-ish side of town, now don’t have to walk as far for common essentials (like coffee and cigarettes.)

​

Opening two days ago was Liberty Gourmet on the corner of 11th and Adams!

Stocking most of the things a standard convenience store sells, such as packaged goods, newspapers, beverages, candy, and fruit, they also have a deli counter featuring Boars Head provisionals, as well as fresh-brewed Law Coffee.

 

I was given a complimentary cup of Hazelnut to keep me warm, and I have to say it wasn’t bad! While D&D is always my favorite, this tasted 10x better than Starbucks!

The owner said the store is open 7 days a week, from 6 am-10 pm (open at 8 am on Sundays.)
